Chew toy

Ajax may be a big hairy prancing boof, but he can be as crafty as a
ninja when he wants to get a hold of a special chew toy, which, in
this instance was my USB Internet dongle.

Cloudlands

It's taken an eternity to open. But now that it has, wow. I just had a
beer in the valleys newest nightspot, cloudlands. It's lavish
decadance meets hipster style in the tradition of it's older siblings
the family, press club and it's bastard half brother bunk.

It impresses from the get go with a living wall of pants, a solid
marble bar, swinging garden pod seats suspended from the retractable
glass ceiling and thousands of crystal balls weaved into a massive
sculpture on the loft above.

It has an open air feel with an abundance of plants. Seriously,
they're everywhere. On every surface and the bar even has a herb
garden with mint and such for fresh cocktails.

I'm keen to see it at night when it transforms from a garden bar to a
nightspot.
