I’ve not read the book. I was going to, but once I heard that it was being made into a movie, I decided to wait until I’d seen the movie first. You know how it goes, you read a book and love it, and then the movie can never match your own idea of what it should look like.
So, I don’t care what the critics say, chances are that they’ve all read the book – most of the world has. I think just me and the bum begging for cash I met the other night hasn’t.
