petrol cheaper than water

I feel sorry for all you car-driving suckers at the petrol station as I wiz past on my bike. I really do. $1.35 is pretty bad. But think how good it would be if you lived in Venezuela?

No, I’m not talking about the sultry brunettes, great food and rich history, I’m talking about the 3c petrol price.

Taxi driver Jaime Tinoco works the streets of Caracas in a 1976 Chevy Nova that guzzles 72 litres of gas a day. But he doesn't worry about fuel efficiency -- filling his tank costs just $2.30.
