april fool

Devised by the Irish as retaliation against English imperial rule, the first April Fool's Day prank on record occurred in 1770 when an Irish peasant persuaded his entire village to tithe the English in pence, making it impossible for the tax collectors to carry the load.

yes, i know i'm early, but everyone should have a good April fool prank either pulled on them by a close friend/loved one/enemy, or organise one to embarrass and humiliate someone else.

i haven't thought up one this year, but bort has pointed me to a bunch of videos of past April fools.
