reply

i got a reply from the zoo regarding their ban on 'recording equipment'.

seems that you won't be able to take your personal digi cam into the venue and they're a little sus on your mobile ohone too.

here's their reply:

Hi Mark,

I do believe that this means any camera.  Although the smaller cameras could be for personal use, they take quality pictures and movies these days, which can be used, as was the case a little while ago, for distribution.  This in turn can get The Zoo into a little trouble in regards to copyright and the like.  Phones with cameras of course are a piece of equipment that cannot be confiscated due to the nature of what they are normally used for.

This means that unfortunately The Zoo has had to take a hard line and create a no photographic equipment rule.  It's always one bad egg that spoils it for the rest of us.

Hope you still can make it to a few gigs however, cause the tunes are  still rockin'....

Cheers,

Dean.

"tunes are still rockin' sounds like such a throw away PR line use to connect with the "kids o ftoday" - it's actually quite condescending.

this is an absolute joke and a slap in the face for everyone who goes to the zoo to see bands and have a good time with their friends.
